Do you use the glasses on the bottom? I like the shelves with colourful items on them, and would continue with that for the other two shelves.

i like the way the turquoise blue stands out, the counter piece and blue tea pot (?) in the cabinet, especially in contrast with the darker cabinet. i suggest looking for vintage, glass, and hand made pottery in similar colors, then use the same color in a few other places in the kitchen. vary the size and shape on the shelves, no need to worry about symmetry. interesting patterns in linens- as in a stack of napkins added would also add variety and 'softness.'
