My husband and I moved into this fixer upper over the summer and are now redoing the outside. We replaced the plastic maroon shutters with board and batten but I think I picked wrong on color. We just ordered a brown wood front door and are going to wrap the posts on the porch with cedar and either paint or stain them and put in some evergreen. We would like to keep the siding the same color to save some money. Our problem is the previous homeowners put on the new roof and it is a very unusual color (without having a brick house). We are so desperate for color help!
