When my folks were too old to deep clean their house, my brother and I would hire a service, yearly.

I received recommendations for the house cleaner and a handyman from a local realtor. Both my brother and I lived out of the area. The home was our childhood home

We paid $330-350 for the housekeeping and $50 per hour for the handyman.

My annual deep cleaning usually is around Christmas instead of Spring. I clean and polish baseboards, trim around windows, interior doors, crown molding, chair rails, stair case spindles, and any other mill work. If I had painted trim instead of stained I could skip the polish step. I clean and polish all cabinets.

Also look at all of your light fixtures. If you have any of the "bug catcher" type vacuum out the bugs and gently dust and clean the fixtures. Dust and clean other light fixtures.

A third item would be to dust and wash walls. Don't forget the switch plates. They often become a little dirty from daily use.
