Ah, this orchid came from hawaii I believe:/ Fingers crossed... is there any hope?

I'm not great with identifying viruses. I will say that all my Paphs and Phrags are very sensitive to the type of water I use (unlike my Phals, Vandas, Oncs and Catts) so I only use rainwater and fertilize very weakly only once a month. Before I understood how sensitive to water they were, I got lots of browning leaves. Good luck!

I'm not sure it's a water quality issue, when I bought the orchid the greenhouse told me paphs "liked to go dry between waterings," and the sphag it in was completely bone dry. Leaves were limp and shriveling. All the leaves that browned and fell off were leaves that were already browning when I bought it.

Paphs roots should be mostly moist. Ocassionally roots can dry, but no more than that.

Unless you have high humidity, they need water nearly every day. When I go on vacation, they go in a little dish with water. They are not like Phals, Oncs, Dens etc.

Yes, I know this, but the greenhouse did not. I was saying that because maybe the leaves browned from lack of water.
