bead board or ship lap ceiling painting

I have a wood paneled ceiling (ship lap), and we are painting it the same color as the trim (warm white). The trim will be in a semi-gloss, but should the ceiling-- even though also wood-- be painted flat, as ceilings usually are, or like the trim in a semi-gloss?

Thanks, kjoy1. That looks like a pretty high gloss in the photo. I could do a semi-gloss, like the trim, but I can't decide since it is a ceiling. Such a dilemma. :)
