I actually don't mind it

See some stenciling too

If you like pink, it's ok. I don't like pink.

I like pink, I like it and the stencils. Would not be in my home however.

Not in my home, either - and to be honest, I can't quite decide if it's fresh and fun, or if it looks like someone was able to get a deal on bubble-gum pink paint.

It obviously makes a statement about the owner and his/her preferences (and I don't mean about their sexuality). I think that it's done well. I love pink, but you'd never see that much of it in my home.

Obviously I LOVE it. But unless I lived alone, I don't know whether I would get to pull it off.

I like the color pink very much, although there isn't a bit of it in my house.

I think it looks great there, but that area is so nice that almost any color would!

I kind of like it too - it reminds me of the bright red hallway in my flat in San Francisco. My roommate had painted the hallway and stairwell high-gloss red, and it was very nice for showing off artwork - mostly African masks. It also made the flat feel warmer. I had pink carpet in my bedroom and would occasionally put pink light bulbs in my bedside tables - to make my bedroom feel warmer. I also had a pink satin bedspread.

Pretty, nicely done and not the usual, but strong pinks get old with me literally in seconds. Like this picture.

That said, bizarrely, our relatively large bedroom in our little winter place in Florida is a startling bubblegum (drunk-tank!) pink. Still. Although it topped our list of to-dos, we've painted other rooms but not gotten around to that one. That's because it becomes very inviting and cozy under lamplight at night, like Lars' room no doubt. No need for pink light bulbs, but pink satin, or any satin actually, would work well.

Without actually living with it, I would never have guessed. Helps a lot that we both normally get up while it's still dark.

Would not do my foyer in pink but I can't say I hate it. In fact it makes me curious as to whether there is more pink in the house or only a case of temporary insanity in foyer.

It looks magical. I like the lights!

Yes, the lights. They confirm it was done by a nine year old. :)

Bazooka! I like pink, but bubblegum and Pepto-Bismol are not nice interior colors. I really did want to love it, with the subtle stencil.

I love pink but I do not like this. I don't like any of it - not the paint, floors or lights. The lights seem really incongruous to me with the rest of it.

I don't like pink, but I like that and the stenciling looks good too. And I love the lights with it. I wouldn't do pink at my house, but I would do a bold color!

Like pamghatten, I do love the lights! The Moravian star design has been around for a very long time, and I think it somehow manages to be both a modern and a traditional touch in this space.

Pepto-bismol was the first thing I thought of when I saw this picture.l

Instead of Pepto-Bismol, it reminds me of strawberry ice cream and makes me think of an ice cream parlor.

What's odd, IMO,. the foyer doesn't necessarily go with the rest of the hse:

Interesting. I would edit a few of the accessories but beyond that I could live in this house.

My actual first thought was Mary Kay or Disney Princess. I'd think I'd like it better in a slightly paler shade.

I like it, but not the Mary Kay pink. Easy enough to change out the color. I'd also want to change the floor tile to something not slippery, but that's because I know my klutzy self....

Oh, I missed the link to the rest of the house... it's interesting that greens seem to be the favorite of the current owners, with very little pink, even in the clothing in the closet.
