Need help selecting exterior colors for new house

last modified: 9 years ago

We are building a new home and are having trouble deciding on siding. We've picked out the brick (antiqued), stone that will go along the front porch, and roof color (Pewter from Certainteed). At first I wanted taupe siding, but its just too brown. I like grey, but want a warm grey. That led me to Scottish Thistle, but I had not envisioned a green, grey which is what this appears to be. It would be good to get your thoughts on whether this color would work or if there or other siding colors in warm gray that may work well?

Note: The trim will be cream (Cameo by Mastic), the windows either black or driftwood from brickmould, and the shutters black.
