Brass Bar Sink

Dear Sirs,
I have two questions about this brass bar sink. First, the name of the product is "brass bar sink"; however, the description lists the material as copper. I assume that this is a typo and the material is brass, correct? Second, would you please confirm that this is unlaquered brass? In other words, would you please confirm that no varnish has been applied?

    Thank you for catching my typo, yes this is indeed brass and it is not coated, so it will tarnish with use.

    How often do you need to polish it? Does it tarnish after every use?

    This brass sink does have a living finish. You can wax it to avoid the tarnishing, otherwise you can let it change and use BarKeepers Friend to clean.
