There is a slew of stuff, but what I'm drawn to for this are high backs without stiletto legs, low color contrast and something for tension by way of velvets, or art deco curves.

The thing is you have a statement table with its main feature in the pedestal for the drama - any statement chairs that are solid will detract from it. I think that is why clear chairs keep reoccurring as suggestions.... In the showroom how was it displayed?
