Have you considered paint for the upper half of the wall? Without seeing the rest of the home, it's not easy to suggest wall items that will fit, but the mirror is the wrong size and the art might be more effective if colorful or placed on a colored wall.

BTW, I hope you don't mind my asking but whose table and chairs did you buy and does the table expand?

Beautiful room. Like Beverly's suggestion for more interesting art. Perhaps you could pick a color from the rug and paint below chair rail. A plant in a large planter at either outside corner would bring some life to the area.

I think your dining room looks elegant. The only suggestion I have is to remove the two diamond shaped pieces of wall art flanking the mirror and replace them with candle wall sconces. If I were clever, I would add a few photos here, but it's beyond my skill set! A quick google search turned up many beautiful choices.

Seeing that I am in FL, could you tell me the manufacturer? Just love the design of the chairs. Almost look like they are in the style of Barbara Barry.

unfortunately, I'm not sure. I don't see any labels on the table or chairs. it was purchased about 10 years ago.
