Check out this blog http://www.mariakillam.com/ about color undertones. The paint sample has some strong pink undertones as does the dark floor, but the (oak?) floor has yellow undertones. The stone sample has green, pink and yellow undertones. If you have the honey oak floors already installed, I'd look for more yellow/ivory toned hard surfaces. I love Maria's blog about colors. Her blog saved me from some very costly mistakes when I wasn't sure what to pick and everything was starting to look the same!

Den, yes. If you like the look and feel of each individual item, I think they will all go well together in your space. Photos, please. :)

I agree with bclowg that the oak flooring needs cabinets of a different color than the silvery gray (which I love) wood sample shown in the middle right of your photo above. Now If you'd like to refinish your floors, then it might work. And bclowg is also right about the paint looking pinkish. To me it looks almost lavender, a color I would not choose to use with your oak flooring.

The stone seems to go with everything because of the wide variation in color that it offers. It's the oak flooring that is throwing things off.

What colour cabinets would you recommend with this flooring?

A natural maple would look good, or a painted cabinet. White or green cabinets.

The colour of the cabinets is actually a chocolate colour, not grey. Will chocolate work with the oak, considering there are some dark grain colours?
