I want to use possibly a victorian head board but it may be impossible, as it has sides and a footboard, all broken down in storage. That may answer this question. I wanted though to see if it's possible to substitute one. We want the look of a platform and an antique headboard to create lower profile, less bulk, and an eclectic look for our bedroom..
