Yellow nutsedge up north & purple down here in the south, either way it requires early action with very specific herbicides. If you have EVER had a nutsedge invasion, the tubers are still down there, waiting for the right conditions. Personally I spot spray every blade I can find with Sedge Ender at least monthly throughout the growing season.
