My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Type of Fireplace

Curios as to what type of fireplace you used on this project and how you got around the combustible space requirements of the unit with the recess. We're working on a similar project right now and are having some challenges. Thank you,

    Hi there. The contractor is Andrew Ness and he's not on Houzz.com but the min distances from the fireplace are all calculated and the recess just has to stay in front of the exhaust system. Work with your local fireplace company and I'm sure they will give you all the info you need for the model you are looking for.

    Sorry i cannot confirm the fireplace...we are an AV company...we didn't do the fireplace.
