Hi! Thanks for the advice. I had gotten it late last year from a nursery pre-potted and was waiting for spring to re-pot it. Do you think now is a good time? It's still pretty dark and gloomy where I am.

I think you can repot. Spring is just around the corner for you:). I would give her a drink first and then repot. Don't water for at least a week after repotting. Last thing make sure to get all the old soil off. Just so you can inspect roots and get a good look at the health of the plant. I'm not saying she looks sick. Your plant looks healthy just a little thirsty:).

Sounds good! I should probably thoroughly water it till water runs out of the bottom right? Or should I use the bottom watering method you think?

Either one is fine. But if the soil is super dry maybe watering from the bottom up might work better:). Btw I love your agave it's such a beautiful species!

Agaves slow down growth in winter here, but they don't stop. While a lower leaf wrinkling isn't itself cause for concern (many succulent plants shed their lower leaves as they grow new ones), it's showing you also that it's thirsty. Maybe watering it 2x a month is a lot better for it.
