The weird spur things.

The seed-grown amaryllis is mildly perplexing: looks like only 2 out of 4 blooms on the stalk of the plant have the 'spurs'. The others are normal (and, frankly, on the smaller side). Went ahead and stuck a label into the pot, will see if it does the same thing next year. Is this a distinct enough trait to be worth cross-pollinating with some known variety?
