Most times the flower will just dry up and fall off or if lucky and it gets pollinated, you could end up with seed pods.

I just leave mine and they fall off on their own.

If you where to take it of, it would be just below the calyx. Deadheading does not promote more blooms.

Ditto, although it might reduce the amount of energy wasted trying to grow a seed pod.

Best way to get more blooms is to water, fertilize,and prune it properly. Some cultivars are everblooming or nearly so under the right conditions.
