Have it trimmed to acknowledge the other doors in your home by a woodworker, in a raised molding 2 panel arch , then paint it . Cheaper than a new door. The style is dated.......and you will have a hard time matching it cheaply.

Or replace it entirely , as close as you can come.

Yes, the wood is too dark. What about painting the door the same colour as the walls. Or remove the 'wrap' and do one similar to the other door, if you are handy, you can do it with plywood monted on the surface and paint it white. Good luck

Paint it the same color as the walls so it disappears. It's a great functional door. Why the builder decided to make the doors two different styles and heights is beyond me. To make it cohesive, replace the adjourning door to match the style and height of the fire door. And paint it the wall colors too. And what is the purpose of the door on the right? If not much, take it out and drywall it. Hopefully you have a place to recycle any replacement doors.

Mallory, for many years it has been covered with photos of friends and family, but just looked messy. Maybe something more organized would work.

John, I suppose replacing both doors makes the most sense. Sadly, I realize that our 12-year old house that we built brand new is now dated. I still like the "Tuscan" color palette though, despite how popular gray is now!

I would paint the fire door & trim the wall color and see if it disappeared enough. Also paint the air handler return grill on the left wall too. I like your Tuscan palette. Grey will shortly be on it's way to being dated too!

We had a similar thing with a garage door right at the end of our galley kitchen. We painted it chalkboard black and it was fun for our kids when they were little but also looked good just black. If you knew someone artistic, they could use nicer chalk/chalk markers like at Trader Joes and draw something on it.

Yes, leave the pantry door as is. You are trying to camouflage the other door and trim so they disappear. That's the only time where I would recommend not having consistent trim color.
