Oh ! I want burdock! Is it possible to move them at this stage? Is it possible to contain them? I don't remember them blooming last year just a bunch of leavrs

They are a plant that grows as a low rosette of leaves the first year, and would bloom this year.

Why do you want them? The burrs are nuisance and when you remove them from clothing or pet fur you need to dispose of carefully so you don't plant more.

So last year if it only grew roots this year it would grow the flower and then repeat one year no blooms and the next year a flower ? I actually have a packet of seeds that was sent with part of a herbal assortment of seeds if I plant some of those this year will I get blooms every year then?

If you want to harvest roots, you want it in a place not with shrubs and perennials that you won't be digging up since digging the burdock for harvest will disrupt the other plants in the garden between the digging and the feet of the digger.

No, they don't alternate years. The rosette is the first year only. Burdock is either a biennial or short-lived perennial, so the first year from seed it will be just the rosette, and then the second year it will flower. You may get one or two years more of flowering, but you may find it dies after the second year. So you will want to start some plants year one, some plants in year two so you always have some. For harvest you will want to research when best to harvest since it may be after year one, I don't know.
