Just to say it's not the adult I worry about it's the larval stage.

I don't have any grass/lawns. But, I worry that that crane flies will deposit eggs near my garden plants. And thus kill my vegetable and fruit plants once that hatch and grow.

Should I be concerned and start killing off female adults? Or are these larva pretty much harmless in the long run as far as short seasoned plants are concerned?
Will they be harmful to any bulb plants?

Here are my list of plants (both planted and not yet):
Tomatoes
Strawberries
Sunflowers
Goji Berry
Phaison Cannas bulbs
Freesia bulbs
Gladiolus bulbs
Pumpkins
Gourds
hot poker plant
Peas
Pansy
Poppies
Daffodils

I think there are a bit more plants/seeds but that is the majority of them.
It's hard to find if these guys will be an issue for me so I'm hoping other gardeners will be able to shed some light on if my concern about them is valid or I just need to forget about it.
