You now just need to scale the three books down as the ones posted before were for a larger table and put a plain clear glass small holder with a candle in it or a small vase with flowers on top. I'm posting a stack of books then I cut off the top two you can see the scale when looking at the tall stack compared to below the top two books cut out to show they are actually fairly small.... the top two then a smallest book on top a bit smaller so that table isn't consumed! I like it very much Lisa.... just my opinion :) yet it's very nice!

I don't understand the dimensions and was too busy to look in to them as you do metric. As long as it's large enough I say get it most definitely and wait on the pillows the the minor decor such as colors and art and cushions.... you can do the books and the lamp though.. silver tone lamp base with lighter tone shade is all. Wait then and see once the, "cow is down". :) You have Zara home you can walk in to? There is something with these rugs it is called, "cigar corners" they roll if the rug is not thick or well made when a real cow. I just want to know if you have a store near you or you order on line. Naturally, this is not a room such as you walk in constant so no cigar might occur. I had a lovely Zebra rug no cigar happened over two years in my family room always used, but my British short hair, "Sofie" well... it is gone and they are VERY durable...... :) I have a plain light tone tan/off white cow in my entry cleans like a dream no cigar happening in 4 years.

Yes yes we have a Zara where I can walk in I think it's the only one in the country have not been there in ages so not sure if everything thus on site is in store, the rugs from the other shop I know they don't do that based on quality so maybe I should buy from there rather than Zara but will check and compare..... yeah !

OH geez, love the rug and you can't tell if it will cigar... as in, "roll" on the edges. It is perfect. Ask them return policy if they don't have in stock so you know if you get it home on line it is very, very thin it may cigar. I don't know the price due to your exchange so do not want you to over pay for a rug that will cigar. If you can get it on line and return if they don't have it in store to view.... great!

You must seem to have limited space. Is this one of those tiny space modern home? I wouldn't have the sofa caddie cornered for it doesn't fit with everything else that's going on in the room... are right at the kitchen coz I see cabinets

Which table are you referring to the coffee table or dinning? The coffee it's the one I have changed to get a small nesting table instead of the one in the mood board and if it's dining yes it's staying and it is big it's a 8 seater.we have had it from our previous house and need to make it work here but not sure posistiong of it. Am trying to do one thing at a time

Hi Claire, it's on my desktop and laptop. It has elevations, interior....... you name it and has it and is WAY too much as I do staging for model homes which the builder recycles current on trend furniture to other homes and also new.... I purchased the software to try as we are looking to build our last home and one story. I wanted a program similar to what you show for my work (although it is not very necessary as there are 5 of us doing this) yet I think it is a good way to show others ideas to work with so the, "bulb" can go off... not always easy. My program does do this yet it is a GIANT pain. It's more geared toward the, "builder".

Hi Porter, Zara doesn't have rug in stock and other shops have it but more of plain white not the cow hide so the search continues. The other shop has this -I loved the zebra more

Ok so what's on the other side of the kitchen is that your family room...the plan that you have is not exact. The side where your sofa is from your entrance is different from your plan. What is the measurements around the area and Do you still have the existing maids room?

The other is too?? I can't explain it for this room. I don't agree with wallpaper however respect Claire and her ideas and knowledge. You put it up then 5 years later you are not fond. I may be older than you and wallpaper has come back, for now. If you have Ebay you can find a zebra maybe dark brown and off white as they do paint them naturally. You just need to read reviews on the seller.

Sorry Lisa I meant all the way in back by the kitchen on the plan it says lounge..... the room next to the kitchen says patio but in your pics it looks like the family room

So off the kitchen at the back there is a family room which we watch tv and then kitchen then it's the big space where am trying to set up dinning and loung the patio is totally out it's no where in the pics

Lisa, I love that wallpaper. And Claire, I love your mock-ups too but I think this one is misleading as the paper Lisa posted looks much more subtle than what you have illustrated in this last mockup. There's far less contrast between light and dark.

Ideally, Lisa, I would combine that stripe with a plain paper that matches the light background -- transitions are cleaner on inside corners, not on outside corners. Does that make sense? In your case, that would mean using the stripes on only the back wall of the seating alcove, the plain finish for the rest. If you can get a matching plain. Eish, it's not easy, is it?

Makes sense Rina and you can say that again eish not easy at all and am so frustrated with trying to do this decor myself which budget permitting I could hire a pro and leave it to them
