My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I also live in Davis, with our hard water. What material did you use for kitchen counters, & how does it stand up to hard water, berry juice, etc.?

    Thanks for your interest - while there is no magic bullet for counter tops, we find quartz surfaces to be very durable and stand up well to both scratching and staining. Also, with the new surface water program, we're optimistic that our Davis water will remain softer than it has been historically.
