I just want to thank you for that great idea on how to deal with fabric pots. I just put mine on burlap and the roots will be through them in a few months for sure. Your setup is nice and organized. Cheers to you, the hard work will pay off.

Thanks, I used upside down milk crates last year (can see them under the 4 strawberry bags) and thought a ton of those would look a bit tacky. Plus the cinder blocks are 16 inch square instead of 12 inches which really adds a significant amount of stability in case of heavy winds.

That is that is a hugely impressive set-up. It looks like a lot of work and quite a bit of expense both in setting up and maintenance. Can you share your rationale for choosing containers over in-ground? You don't seem to lack space. Do you perhaps not have sufficiently acidic soil for blueberries?

Nice work. How are you doing the drip irrigation for those strawberry towers? I just purchased a Mr. stackey strawberry setup and would like to put together some type of drip irrigation setup for it but I'm not sure where to start.

Floral_UK - Our soil is nearly straight red clay and we only plan to be in our current house for about another 2 years. I didn't want to invest those 2 years into establishing bushes and brambles only to leave them behind when we move. When we buy our next house it'll be one we plan on staying in indefinitely and I plan to put them in the ground at that time. These fabric pots are advertised as lasting 2 - 3 years so hopefully they will make it.

Speedster - I haven't installed the drip emitters yet but they will just snap into that spiraling supply line above each strawberry plant. I mounted the supply lines using zip tie saddles from amazon.

Great and neat looking set up, fabric pots are great for roots development and growth. And wow your blueberry are already loaded with fruits, mine are starting flowering and leafing out now while some of my cane berries are putting on a lot of growths and buds.

Okay you're moving, makes sense now why in containers with all that land. I like how you think!
