it's just like there satin impervo maybe slightly less

I'm probably too late to the discussion, but just in case...

Advance Satin is what I used (at least initially) on my doors and trim. I brushed and rolled it on myself. It leveled pretty nicely, although there were definite sags—probably a function of my inexperience more than the paint itself.

Anyway, you asked about the sheen. It's lightly reflective in Satin, but not overwhelmingly so. I'm sitting on my sofa right now looking at some trim, and I can see a slight shimmer from a table lamp.

For what it's worth, I also recently compared it to Sherwin Williams' ProClassic in Satin and Semi-gloss. Advance's satin seems to fall in the middle, although closer to the ProClassic Satin.

I personally like it, as it seems like the best of both worlds in terms of the enamel finish without being too plastic-y like semi-gloss can be. All that said, you mentioned you have a traditional dining room, so perhaps you'd be happier with the semi-gloss. And I'm even re-considering my decision as I'm about to get new baseboards put in. So, long story short, I don't really think you can go wrong.

I wouldn't use semigloss on cabinets - that's A LOT of sheen. I'd go stain on cabs and you could either on trim, although I'm partial to semigloss there (I'm assuming "trim" means the baseboards, door casings etc, not mean the cabinet trim). Beautiful color choice :).
