Thanks for your message and interest in our item. This has a base with a screw pin to be screwd int to the top of umbrella. Then the solar panel can be installed on the base. And it comes with clips to install the light string on the ribs. Thank you.

Unfortunately i had to come up with my own way of mounting the solar panel. None of the material that came with the kit was helpful. You may want to post pictures of mounting hardware so those that purchase this lighting kit moving forward do not experience the pains i went through trying to figure it out. Made the installation of the kit much more time consuming and surely would have help had i known what i would be getting for mounting hardware.
