Kaffir lime leaves problem?

Attached are photos of my kaffir lime leaves . I noticed they are blotchy. I've had it for 5 years. It's been a healthy plant except last year scale got into it and I had to treat it with a systemic. I have not seen it come back but I noticed the blotchy leaves started this winter. The plant is indoors in the winter months. Could i

t be lacking in nutrients?

I use 1 Tablespoon Canola oil to 1 quart of water and add a teaspoon of hand washing soap to mix the oil and spray on both sides of the leaves. Others use Neem oil to instructions.

I just sprinkled diatomaceous earth on it and my other citruses. I figured it can't hurt. it was in one of the comments in the citrus forum. I just happened to have a bag.

I have tried neem oil on it and on my figs last year. problem with the chemicals is they do not get to the root of the problem. diatomaceous earth should kill anything live attacking it.
