I've been working on this project for awhile. I've done a lot of research and now it's down to decision time. Could use your help!

We're thinking of going with Hunter Douglas Designer & Screen Shades. One of the fabrics we chose is called Thrill Sundown. It's a black out shade. The other one is a semi-opaque shade. Does anyone know if the blackout shades which has a vinyl feel to it, would look cheap or too industrial? I know HD has other options like the Vignettes and Silohettes but it doesn't suit our transitional/soft contemporary style. We like the flat roller shades because it's a simple look and then plan on getting panels to dress it up for a more elegant look.

Has anyone done these type of shades in living rooms and bedrooms? If so, please attach pics (if you don't mind).
