When I painted my bedroom last year, I knew I wanted white but which one? so I looked on line and in library magazines for white rooms that appealed to me. Finding six or seven that looked good, I got 6" by 6"samples from the BM paint store, and looked at them at different times of day to see how they might change. Finally selected BM's Cotton Balls, a creamy white. Love it! We can tell you what we like but you have to decide based on your taste, style and the light in the room. Good Luck

We just painted our entire living area white. I gradually bought seven different SW white samples from Lowes - different shades people recommended online (Yes, these are all considered whites!). Some didn't work because we have a lot of trees around our house and that impacted the color, others because they had a hue that only really became apparent once I used it on the wall. I painted a small patch of each of them in different corners of the room to see what they would look like there.
