I'm by no means an expert but: too much fertilizer, inadequate pollinators nearby, pear trees can take a while to mature also. Do you have multiple trees? How far apart? How old are they? Do you see a ton of blooms on the tree every year? Also, where are you located approximately?

I have two pear trees. One is the moon glo and one is the bartlett pear. They about 7 years old and they are planted about 20 feet apart. They are the 10 to 20 feet variety supposedly. I have a mason bee hotel on an adjacent tree. I will try to get pictures but this year we had a freeze after they budded out so I don't expect anything this year.
