Moving potted apple tree to aid growing?

Just an idea popped into my head.

Once my potted red Windsor has pollinated and the trees around have also pollinated and began fruiting, would it be beneficial to move the pot to a slightly sunnier spot?

More info: i have a Crispin planted in the back garden and gets maybe 6-8 hours of sun. As a pollination partner i have a potted M9 red Windsor. I didn't want to plant it as there is also a large plum tree which i fear would be too much competition. Once both apple trees have started fruiting in the back garden, would it be of any benefit to move the pot to the front garden, which gets maybe 2-3 hours a day more sun and is normally 2-3°c warmer? I could simply move the pot back and forth if so.

Thanks
