Years ago I got Joyce terry, it bloomed one year & died during a spring when we got tons of rain. That has been at least 5 or 6 years ago. A year or so later probably, I got another iris, Ruth's Love, died shortly after I planted it. It was planted in the same bed and I moved most of the iris out of that bed a couple of years ago. This year I got this one blooming. From the shape of the fall you may think this is 2 different plants, but it is actually the same bloom, different angles. To me it looks more like Joyce Terry from the slight ruffle, but this bloomed early-in 2 completely different spots. Ruth's Love is listed as early while JT is mid to late season. The color of this is what I see in my garden, at least on my monitor. Some photos of Joyce terry look almost more orange than bright yellow I see. Any thought? I would appreciate any help, I hate not having a name for an iris.
