Our Houston town house has a ton of space tucked away behind this uninspiring facade. I want to remove the shutters. The windows above the garage door are quite small, but have an ugly panel below the panes that I don't know what to do with! The adjoining house has cute shutters, iron railings and flower boxes installed on the windows and it looks great. I'm thinking awnings, but The ones I've researched would cover the glass window completely. Not thrilled with the potential cost or an iron balustrade like my neighbors.
