What Is This Weed?

Our lawn is covered with centipede grass. However, we have one spot (maybe 8 foot square) that is being taken over by the "weed" shown in the photo. I've dealt with crabgrass before, but this weed is different. From some research I've done, I'm going to guess it is a type of Bermuda grass.

1- What is it and what is the best way to get rid of it?

2- Is there a chemical that will kill it, but not the centipede?
