Something that supposedly "potent" (able to shrink very large tonsils to normal size in a relatively short period of time) would have to be a very powerful immunosuppressant or toxic to lymphoid tissues, with dangerous side effects.

There's probably more to this story we're not hearing.

^^^^ that's a big nope, sorry rusty_ blackhaw. curious where you acquired such a negative take on herbs that i see running thru many threads? until not so long ago all medicines were herbs...and the earliest pharmaceuticals were made from plants. healing plants are your friend, not your enemy.

Nili, try red root tincture, Ceonothus americana. a dropper full a few times per day. tonsils are lymph tissue, red root is specific for lymph congestion and will help clear it pretty quickly. good luck!
