The Adura Max has a vinyl top, and being that there is some distressing in the particular style you chose, it won't be very slippery. I've known solid hardwood to be more slippery than any vinyl. The only point I will make (or suggestion rather) is to get the whole stair tread in one solid piece, rather than individual flooring planks, pieced together. Stairs are heavy traffic areas and take a beating. The weakest part of any flooring are the seams, so if your builder can manage to use the solid treads, it will last much longer for you.

To my knowledge there are no solid treads available to match and WPC/EVP floor out there. You can get rubber, but it looks nothing like the Adura Max. Most of our customers use the planks and the stairnose.

I have seen the Adura Max cap a tread on their website and was hoping someone had used them before and could comment on the product. Anyone use it in their home?

Rachael, I am looking at the Adura Max. Did you go with the Sausalito Bay Breeze? And, how did it turn out, looks lovely in the pic. Do you have any finished pictures?

Yes and I have loved it! (We did NOT do it in the stairs, and I think that was the right choice too.) We've only been in the home for two months so far and I've loved it! The second picture here is with indoor lighting on and the other two are just with daylight though the window. I've never actually noticed it looking that yellow, most of the time it is just the beautiful gray I love.

I ordered the Adura Max cap a tread today but it won't be in for a few weeks. I wanted to try this vs. the stairnose for a one piece surface. Not sure what I'll do with the risers.

Yoopstar, was wondering where you found the Adura Max Cap A Tread? I bought the dockside sand MAX031 and can't find the matching treads anywhere online

Beware that the cap a tread only come in 47 inches so if your stairs are any longer

they won't work.

I can't believe they don't make flush nose stair and step pieces. They only have overlapping.

I have done stairs with LVT without additional accessories. Its possible to cut through on the back of the plank few layers and then it will bend equally
