If you are using semi custom you can usually order reduced depth for a nominal up charge I think .

Will your plates fit in? Or maybe they are for pantry items?

I can't add more than what Palimpsest said, but I am so curious. Why do you want 10-11" deep cabinets?

M Miller want to add them on the bar side of my kitchen as a "bar" area. Glasses, bottles, etc. cannot go more than 11" as that is the counter overhang. 40" high would make them "built in"

Cabinet builders like Scherrs and Barkers can make you what you want.

M Miller...I don't think the counter is 11" deep; I suspect there's an existing 11-inch overhang on the back side of other cabinets and Jackie would like to put cabinets under that overhang.

Are there any 9" deep cabinets? Sometimes cabinetmakers offer cabinet depths (and widths) in increments of 3". It couldn't hurt to ask!

With 9" deep cabinets, you have 10" of space accounted for --- 9" cabinets + 1" door = 10".

Then, with a 1" overhang over the top (similar to what you see on standard counters over base cabinets), you've accounted for those 11". (Standard overhang over base cabinets is 1.5", but 1" would work.)

Buehl you nailed it- that's exactly what I need. Stopped at Lowes today(theydid my kitchen cabinets) and they can cut down cabinets to fit perfectly with trim pieces and building a false bottom. Thanks for the ideas!!

@M Miller I’m having a similar issue and looking to replace a few shelves in my kitchen cabinets that have started to bow from years of holding heavy dishware. They are exactly 11” deep. The closest I have been able to find (without going custom) is 11.25” but there isn‘t even any wiggle room for that extra quarter inch to fit! 🤷🏼‍♀️ I did find some 10” shelf board, and I’m ok with that, although the 1” gap will be annoying. Just really baffled as to why my kitchen cabinets have a shelving depth that is impossible to find a replacement for?!
