Any advice on this cactus?

I have this rather large cactus that my aunt gave me several years ago. I have no idea what kind it is but it does have a single large beautiful white flower on it once or twice a year. I have several people wanting a start of it but it's never had any new starts come up. How can I propagate this without hurting my large cactus?
