I would do the tiled frame and leave it at that. Especially since you're selling soon, I really don't think it's necessary to go to the effort and expense of tiling that wall. If the buyer wants it done, it can be added later.

Thanks. I am not very hip on styles and was afraid that by repeating the exact shower in different tile I was losing an opportunity to lend an updated look. We considered opening the shower up with glass but I did not want to shower looking at the toilet through the glass.

Is the toilet in the right place, distance from front of toilet to wall looks tight? Is there room for a glass shower door to swing open?

Bullnose tile should be fine. There are different ways of trimming out a shower and everyone will have their favority way. I used white quartz with a detailed edge, that matched the shower bench and vanity counters, but I also had some white in my tiles that tied it all in.

Don't spend the money on tiling the whole wall. Your buyers may end up wanting to do an entirely different tile, and rip it out. Keep it simple, just do the edging.

yes, the toilet is so close the shower door cannot swing out...the one installed when we bought the place swung in. the last two houses that sold on my street had big dumpsters out front before anyone moved in... so yes, we are keeping it simple as it may be ripped out. thanks for taking the time to respond. i will proceed as planned :-)
