If you get a larger than average range, you'll need a bigger hood and have to add make up air. That will be quite a bit more expensive than a standard range and hood. Talk to an experienced licensed contractor about the cost to add make up air.

There are a lot of 30" dual fuel ranges on the market that do not require larger hoods. If you can use the counter space, I would put in the range. Also many wall ovens available now are 30" so the wall oven cabinet will eat up about 6" more of your counter space.
