The look of the rich, dark door is my choice.

Either would look great...I think I would choose the bottom door.

I think the second one (solid door) would be a better fit.

I personally prefer the 2nd door as I like a long pull on solid door. However, I think the 1st door would suit your house better.

I sort of like the second door. I'm not sure that the windows of the
first one will really show up on your facade, although they would of
course look cool up close. The solid door is striking, and you'd still
get enough light from the sidelights. But honestly, it's mostly
personal taste, as both seem quite appropriate...

I love the look of the second, but feel the first door is more in keeping with your home out of the two.

The first door will bring more light and attention in. The house has smaller/fewer windows and a darker look so I think that putting in a door that is different will really brighten up your home. Although the second choice is nice as well, I think that it's too solid and bulky for your home, and will take kind of blend in with the rest of the house. Good luck making a decision.

They are both gorgeous doors. How bright or dark is the interior of your house and would you end up just covering the sidelights with a curtain for privacy? I'd choose based on that.

I wouldn't call your house strictly colonial even though it is garrisoned. The brick and long, linear nature is reminiscent of Wright. So, I think a more modern door would work. I like both but perhaps the first door has more detail.
