This is going to be fantastic!

Just acquired a very large Dining Room set from an auction. The entire set was $ 10.00. No one wanted the table and chairs for $ 5, so they put the buffet and made it $10. I always found success in auctions where the main attraction is not home decorating but something such as machine shop tools. Less creative decorators bidding or in my case - Not at all!

I will post additional pictures. My original intention was to spray painted black and upholster the fabric in a very modern or contemporary colorful print fabric. The back drop off the room is beige/grey. The chairs have already been coated with a layer of paint. The table shows some drying as well as the buffet. Not quite sure how to handle that. Maybe sanding? The chairs currently have nail heads, not my favorite but certainly easy to work with. I'm so excited that I have postponed all other projects!

    Awesome score!

You said you want them to look modern right? If you like a more distressed or French market look, I highly recommend Annie Sloans paints and waxes.
