    Yes, the backsplash is a 3" x 6" honed Cararra marble.

    I did that exact backsplash in my kitchen; I bought the tile from a large tile store where I live. I wanted the more rustic look so I did use the rough side but put sealer on them before I started tiling. The end result were the most beautiful handiworks of earth I've seen. I'm partial to Cararra marble. Go for the lightest gray grout for the effect shown; I had to dig out one batch out of mine because in dried too dark.

    What is the exact type of Carrara? There are so many and I've been looking for something with a hint of blue, like the one shown. Thank you!
