Ceiling color question

Our small cottage in Maine has a cathedral ceiling over living room and loft room. I am painting the walls a color called canvas (cut back to 75% pigment) in satin; wall trim and base board in canvas (100%) semi-gloss. The cathedral ceiling has a batten treatment. Question: does it make sense to paint ceiling in canvas like the walls? Or do need to paint white?

    If you want a more spacious feeling, I like 'Rockin's formula. If you want a little cozier, since the ceiling is cathedral, then maybe 100% canvas or one shade darker than canvas that you may incorporate into the rest of the room somewhere else.
