How wide an area is this covering?

I am wondering how wide the area of coverage is with the panels in the flat position.

Each panel is 24" long when pulled flat and how many panels you need depends on your space dimensions. Please email us at sales@infinitycanopy.com with the details of your project so we can further assist you.

Thank you for your reply. I would like my panels to lay flat like this and I understand that each panel is about 24", but even so when I put my measurements into your online calculator it says 5 panels for 10 feet which would equal 10 feet of fabric with a wave in the fabric, no?
