We wouldn't suggest relying on scotchguard or similar products for an outdoor cushion, scotchguard washes off, and is a chemical treatment. Cushions made from indoor/outdoor fabrics shed water and resist mildew and stains without scotchguard treatment so there is nothing to reapply.
