We are building a lake house - the builder typically finishes the houses the same, but we are making some changes to wood colors. We have an open concept kitchen to living room and will be installing cherry colored (Acres stain) hickory cabinets with uba tuba granite. The builder uses pine for all of the trim and doors - typically with a Pecan stain from SW Wood Classics. I feel like it is too rustic on the pine - does anyone have any recommendations that would go well with a cherry color? I am looking at Burnished Walnut which is slightly warmer than the pecan.

This is what he typically does. We will keep the floors the same color as they are in the picture. Our walls will be BM Revere Pewter.

This is the living area of another similar house - (structure is the same as ours - but different colors) - we changed the kitchen cabinet color.
