Bathroom vanity?

Design help appreciated... Hoping to modify this as a master bath vanity. Suggestions for flooring, countertop, colors, etc? Was thinking everything creams and whites and have this as focal point. Thanks in advance.

What is the depth of that, and the height? Could you post some pictures of the room, and maybe dimensions? I'd LOVE to help, this is totally my thing.

I agree that this piece would make a great focal point. If you would like, you can find a cream or white tile that has a vein of green though it. many beautiful options out there! I wouldnt break the bank as this is a stand out vanity!

Thanks for your responses! This is the current vanity in this ugly bathroom. The entire bathroom is being stripped down and reconfigured. The vanity will still stay in same location though.

Here are pics from a lovely bath that could be an inspiration.

Finding a lav bowl that will fit with a faucet is going to be difficult with that depth. Might be better to mount the faucet on the wall

36" is tall. are you doing vessel sinks? are you using a stone top or just sealing that one? either one will make washing your face a little difficult if you are shorter than 5'8" or so. It's a beautiful piece. I would do a stone top of some sort and drop a sink in the middle. Use the same stone to come up the wall for the splash about 10" and do a wall mounted faucet, like the pictures above. The depth is fine. mine is 24" and I found a 8 1/2" spout. you could have a standard spout and it would fit perfectly.

Yeah, I was also going to say marble top and undermount sink in the middle -- that way, you keep the drawers and cupboards on the sides, as well as some amount of storage under the sink in the middle. You could conceivably have two sinks (can't tell how your current plumbing runs), but they'd have to be pretty small, and you'd lost most of the storage value of the piece, I think. White or cream marble and sinks would be really pretty, though, and maybe dark faucets to match the hardware on the piece. Then any coordinating flooring, whether tile or marble or whatever...

Small tiles will reinforce the vintage feel of the piece, or any larger tile or, say, herringbone will give it a more modern twist.
