The gorgeous windows are your focal point!

I would put a beautiful and child friendly sofa on the left wall as you're looking from the kitchen, two chairs facing it, and use an ottoman for the coffee table. I wish that was a thing when my kids were babies, it seems like the perfect thing for Baby to pull up on, sit in the center of, bang toys on, etc. Behind the chairs you could have a long, low console with divided sections for toy bins. Books could pile on baskets on top of it. This layout would work if you end up with the tv in there, too. Just mount it above the console. The chairs will have their backs to the tv, or if that bothers you you could move them to have one on each side of the sofa, back to the window and back to the kitchen.

I love an ottoman like this one for small children. Soft upper... basket storage underneath to easily clean up books & toys.

You will create your focal point with either a TV (don't mount on wall!) but put on a nice console with lots of storage. I would select the left side wall for the focal wall. If no TV, a nice sofa table on that same wall with a great lamp and great art above, small scale sofa, two comfortable chairs facing that left wall and put a series of storage units behind the sofa for toys, baby needs and places for hiding all the baby stuff when needed. Soft linen drapery to close off window/doors for privacy when needed. Hang rod midway up wall above door trim. Line drapery as needed for blocking light if needed. Find a coffee table that has storage. Try to build storage into every piece you will need it.
