Unfortunately, the answer is none. You should update the maple cabinets as part of updating everything else like the counter tops, back splash, etc.

You may find some lovely quartzite options to complement the cabinetry. There is a wide range of looks available with this stone, good luck!

I was wondering if Taj Mahal would be too fancy for natural maple.

Maple cabinets are lovely. They look great with a number of countertops. My sister is contemplating using Hanstone Swan Cotton quartz with her natural maple countertops. (I have always been a little partial to soapstone countertops with maple cabinets.)

I think I would go with black, if you stove top is black…just for a clean sweep over top.

Thanks for all the advise! Any opinions on Jet Mist (aka Virginia Mist) with maple? I love the look of soapstone, but it's not low maintenance enough for my family.

Perfect! The Jet Mist runs a bit blue (more blue than gray) = perfect. Have fun.

I agree with Cancork Floor Inc. Contrast with the bright or rich colors will be stunning and make you happy over the long term. Choosing more warm tones will leave you feeling very blah and spending $ on our homes should never leave us with a case of the blahs :D

I decided to go with Jet Mist, as a bright white seemed too contemporary for my 1899 house. I love it, and feel thankful that my updated kitchen works so well for my family. I put off replacing the floor, as I was running low on money, patience and creativity. What floor looks good with maple cabinets and a dark countertop??

I used to have white tiles on one of the bathroom countertops and I could not understand how bright white will go well, it kind of disappear.... then I read dark granit with blue or greenish tones, brown is a no no... I changed some countertops with caesarstone caldera, still deciding on kitchen countertops.... Still like this dark marble like brown quartz....
