Ahhhh, very pretty. I guess this means that really will have a spring this year.

Beautiful, Nancy. We finally had a lovely sunny day yesterday. After a full week of rain, it was amazing how quickly the ground dried up once the sun shone-weeds in shady areas came up so easily, but by the time the sun had hit them for an hour or so, they were unwilling to let go!

Hi all, nice breath of spring Nancy, here I think we are missing spring altogether this year, going from winter into summer :(. They are promising warmer weather next week but you want to talk rain, we've had nonstop rain it seems for months after one of the most miserable winters we've had in decades. Lost a lot in the garden, and the greenhouse, even with some heat on couldn't keep it above freezing so I'm having a good turf out in there. Hoping for a reasonable summer, is that just wishful thinking for this year?

A reasonable summer would be nice!! I am living in a fool's paradise, as I have not looked at the forecast yet. We have had major flooding in the Ottawa Valley area, which is now finally abating, though the flow of water through town is still pretty scary. The flooding is now down on Lake Ontario and up the St. Lawrence to Montreal. They say letting the Lake down 1" will put the river level up 1' by Montreal. Wowser. In our garden, all of our mini-roses seem to have died. I didn't think the winter was that hard. Time to go shopping!!

Nancy, I am just across the border from Cornwall, and I've had a number of seemingly strange plant/tree/shrub deaths or winter damage as well. But yay for shopping! :)
